our special events
pastor's appreciation
This is a Sunday service designed to honour and appreciate Rev. Dr. Samuel Yaw Blessed for his good works and the unique shepherding role he plays over our church. This is in fulfillment of the scripture at 1 Corinthians 9:14 which instructs us to support those who preach the Good News.
wisdom festival
Wisdom Festival is our annual youth empowerment program organized to help our youth navigate adolescence in healthy ways and provide our youth with opportunities, fostering positive relationships, teaching them to grow in their relationship with the Lord and positioning them right for life.
couples retreat
This is the flagship event of our Family Enrichment Ministry. This is a vacation event where our couples spend time together away from the rigmaroles of life to refresh, reset their relationships, learn from other Godly relationships, learn new practical skills and plan. This programme is held annually.
breakthrough festival
The Breakthrough Festival is our annual flagship conference. As the name portrays, this ‘festival’ endeavours to create a strategic divine atmosphere and fresh opportunity, where members and attendees seek the face of God for specific divine encounters. Click here to read more about this event,
gold, frankincense & myrrh night
This is a Carol Service organised in all ICGC assemblies to raise funds to support a social-intervention programme within their communities. It is a festival of nine lessons and carols meant to reenact the birth of Christ Jesus and to remind members and their loved ones about the true essence of the birth of Christ.
white sunday
This is a gratitude service we organize on the last Sunday of every year. It is an all-white service meant to lead members to thank God for His protection and provision for the year. This service offers members the opputunity to thank God openly and acknowledge what He's done for us, and to proclaim a caring God to the world around us.
crossover with jesus
This is our last event of the year, held on New Year's Eve to usher members into the impending new year. This is key to us because it marks the end of a year and the beginning of a new one. The service is usually to thank God for being alive and experiencing the blessing of the out going year and the welcoming of the new one.
special sundays
Throughout the year we have a cocktail of Special Sundays tailored to address specific issues in our church. These are Health Sunday, Wife and Husband's Sunday, Lifestyle Sunday, Parenting Sunday, Friends & Family Sunday, Departments' Sunday, Humuor Sunday, Creative Arts Sunday and many more.
